@alwayhome @jjfitzgeraldMD And my endometrioid ovarian adenocarcinoma was noted: arising in endometriosis.
Not having my pain addressed led to ovarian cancer.
@alwayhome @jjfitzgeraldMD 28 years after my first period, 25 years after it became unbearably (vomit from pain) awful 3-4 weeks/month—not 1–and 24 years after I was told, “it’s probably endometriosis, but we won’t put your body through the trauma of looking into that until you’re ready to have babies.”
@alwayhome @jjfitzgeraldMD would take a look at it until I needed an ambulance because of the pain, of a dying appendix and a mass that was over 10cm that day, and 20 by surgery day, as well as all of the little mass friends, and was Dx’d w/ endometrioid ovarian adenocarcinoma /2

The biggest mistake that I made as a newly disabled resident was to assume that doctors knew anything about accommodations, let alone that they'd respect them. Acommodations in medical training are seen as impossible or ridiculous because they don't think disabled doctors exist
