"The idea that you can not see these children as your own makes you a danger to humanity."
I'm on the other side of that extreme.. I can't even cook food for my kids without thinking about all those children who can't enjoy a good cooked lunch at home with their parents , and live on the streets alone.
Every photo and story breaks me up and I fill my self with thoughts.
Its shocking that those causing this actually went through such horrors and should know better. But my fellow Jewish brothers and sisters are lost...the crimes are horrific and a stain forever on Jews and humanity as a whole.
FREE PALESTINE is only a possibility with the end of zionism and it's representing shamful state of Israel.
So very excited to share our latest award nomination - as Charity Champion in the Bolton Women in Business. We won the award for Services to Children last year, which was brilliant, but it's so nice to be recognised for the wider community impact of our work.
If you think we are worthy of being finalists, please vote for us at this linkhttps://www.allcounted.com/s?did=wfomnxx41t5j9&lang=en_US. We appreciate your support.
Round 3 of our Stay and Play the Forest School Way is back at a @BoltonStartWell family hub near you.
There are places still, but limited & going fast. If you know someone who might benefit from regular child-led, nature-based play, please share on
@BoltonTogether@TeamBoltonYouth That's the one 😁😁 there was one participant who spent about half an hour just actually rolling around in the mud - for the fun of it!! Didn't even share any photos of that part 😀😊
Another successful holiday programme ticked off this #EasterHAF24#BoltonHAF24 Lots of new faces - embracing the mud, the adventure and the exploration of our beautiful woodlands at Seven Acres Country Park. For some, the biggest risk was trying something new, without mum. Cont.
@BoltonTogether@TeamBoltonYouth Last few pics.... A small group led by Alun made fire strikes - using various tools to complete the task. We also made a mud slide and learners used a secure rope to climb back up. Lastly, a group went to explore Seven Acres. They looked for birds & enjoyed the view.
2. However, that (supported) risk was taken and the rewards were reaped 10 fold. New friends, new confidence, new happy place, new experiences, new skills. Developing imagination, playing games, using tools, making dens, sensory exploration. #forestschoolethos#childled
Snapshot of this week's Stay and Play the Forest School Way at two of our weekly venues - the Oldhams Children's Centre, & community site the Red Lane Growing Project in Breightmet. We managed two sessions despite the hail showers & wind! #earlyyears#forestschoolethos#childled
Celebrating our 3rd birthday at Bolton's #WorldSocialWorkDay2024 gathering. Head of Children's Services Bernie Brown talked about Buen Vivir: Shared future for Transformative Change, emphasising the need for social workers to adopt innovative, community-led approaches.
