Re-watching the Sam Raimi Spider-Man movies as an adult with the knowledge of Raimi's other movies/his directing style makes them infinitely better. They're not Spider-Man movies, they're Raimi Spider-Man movies and when you meet them on that level, they're so good.

I personally believe that Spiderman and Jean Grey deserved their own movies. The V Max reveal could've hit harder if we'd gotten more time with Sarah and Jean, & Spiderman deserves a movie that doesn't serve as an introduction to the next X-Men movie.
