Classic time! Get ready for my playthrough of "Spellcasting 201: The Sorcerer's Appliance", a Steve Meretzky game published by Legend Entertainment in 1991, with a hybrid mix of a text parser and point 'n click interface. Not for the prude of heart...

"School Quest" captures that typical 80s adventure game vibe, death scenes and all, exchanging the text parser for a point 'n click interface. You can read about my four hour playthrough on my blog The Point 'n Clicker!

My wife and I finished the last two chapters of "As Dusk Falls". We had a blast playing this! It's something different than watching a movie or TV show together, and my wife really likes being able to steer the story a bit 😏

"As Dusk Falls" is an interactive thriller/drama about a burglary gone wrong and two families colliding, making choices in dialogue replies but also bigger decisions when there's a fork in the road.
And I played it together with my wife!

I hadn't expected @granulac's "Perfect Tides: Station to Station" to be such a long game, but that's only natural with such a layered story about young people in college or university struggling with their identity and relationships.

With only a little interference to enjoyment, "Radiolight" is @krystofknesl‘s one-man production offering a supernatural 1980s mystery well worth exploring in a gorgeously detailed yet solidly creepy woodland setting.

@WILL_TheGame I'm no streamer, but a blogger, and part of the Adventure Games Podcast (next to my official review work for Adventure Game Hotspot). Don't know if you'd consider someone like me, but I've applied anyway ☺️
No frustrating time-loop antics in the wonderfully designed "The Posthumous Investigation" by @mgaiastudio, just a deep but fast-paced unraveling of who might have killed Rio de Janeiro’s most influential resident.

@Monkalb When a game isn't voiced, I always turn off auto-advance. Usually I read faster and click myself - and I hate it when I accidentally click away the next line when it auto-changed a split-second before that! - but keeping dialogue on-screen is a great way to pause as well.
