The moral argument against a wealth tax is simple:
Your wealth is not a public resource simply because other people are envious of it.
If it was earned voluntarily and without violating anyone's rights, others have no moral claim to it.
Fat people will say eating less doesn’t work, and they needed a weight loss drug to finally lose weight.
The drug’s effect is that it makes them eat less.
