Here’s an order that went through, I cancelled and the credit card fee was charged for $80+ …. Now times that by 110 orders. It happened in a matter of 3-4 days over Easter weekend.

Shopify as a payment processor and #tapcart hosts my app causing these fraudulent orders. This caused me to lose $10,000 in credit card processing fees.

Every fraud order went through Tapcart. I added Tapcart to my website October 2022. Before this I never had this happen. They will not reimburse me for any of these processing fees, I’m out $10,000. #shopify and #tapcart won’t resolve this. Share to save someone else 😭

Scammers placed $200,000 in orders over the weekend due to CTF (card testing fraud). This allows them to see if the card works (on a website like mine) they request to cancel and then use it somewhere else (like Nike). I lost $10,000+ in credit card processing fees.
