We're currently getting transcripts from F2 as radio calls are somehow making it on F1's live stream. 🤣

@F1Help F1TV Premium is unwatchable on Roku 4K. These artifacts start appearing as soon as the player loads and swaps in the 4K stream. Please look into it ASAP, this is horrible.

A few updates on the above:

1. It seems that the VPN detection isn't perfect. Some VPNs still work, and some residential connections get blocked (especially mobile data and business connections seem to be affected). It's possible you'll be affected even when you're not using a VPN, and from our testing, F1Help isn't very helpful, pointing you towards your ISP instead of having an option to allow-list your IP when confirmed you're not using a VPN.

2. If you already had a F1 TV Pro subscription from a EU country, and you're using it in a non-Pro country (relevant for Spain, Italy and Germany), you should still be able to use it without a VPN, thanks to EU regulations (2017/1128) that mandate your should have "content portability" within EU member states. Though some people have reported the need to sign out & in every now and then.

3. MultiViewer now has a new error screen for when F1 TV tells us they think you use a VPN. However, even though we show this error, we don't check if you're on a VPN yourself, and so we have no way to "allow-list" you, or troubleshoot this with you, even if you're not using a VPN. We recommend you contact F1 TV support (F1Help on Twitter, or https://t.co/q9nLUzIMDn), but we've also heard back from our users that they aren't very helpful at the moment. It's still good to reach out so F1 at least sees there's a problem.

We dislike this situation as much as you do. Our whole goal is to bring F1 multi-screen & data to as many people as possible.
