A price that could potentially rob her two beautiful children of their mother. More than anything in this world Carole wants to see her children grow up. Unfortunately the HSE & Our Government do not care. To them Carole & her children do not matter!!They are just another number

Even though her Oncologist strongly advises that Carole has this treatment in order to help prolong her life & help prevent her Cancer from returning. The cost of this drug for a 12 month period is €54,000. The HSE has put a price on Caroles life

Recently a ground breaking Drug Pertuzumab was approved for treating Breast Cancer Patients before Surgery. Herein lies the problem for Carole! Because she has had her Surgery the HSE will not approve it for her.

The good news is as far as the Experts can determine Carole is FOR NOW Cancer free. She will be on Tamoxifen for 5-10 years & Herceptin injections for a year. Both treatments used to help keep her Cancer from coming back.

This is Carole Troy & her two children Abbi & Ben. Carole is 46 years of age! She was diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer earlier this year. Yesterday Carole met her Oncologist for the first time since having Surgery & completing Chemotherapy
