Terminally ill family guy with MND and fabry's, fighting the odds to make memories and raise awareness, doing crazy challenges despite being wheelchair bound.
@Biffa I got a quote on line, very reasonable, nice lady rung me up to tell me the road was too narrow. how big are your trucks? council don't have any issues with their rubbish trucks, I see your trucks all the time near us.
Got home last night, and my Dad (who I live with) was loving what @LiversidgeJason is getting up to.
Like Jason, his Dad had Motor Neurone Disease, his Dad did everything he could, while he could, to live life, including having my Dad wheel him to the pub, and lift his glass!
We got lots of media coverage for a 'Straightliners' Guinness World Record event at the weekend in UK. Incl. @LiversidgeJason wheelchair record on the BBC, Star, Daily Express, ITV & Sun. Also in Austria, Canadian, Belgian & German media. @LiversidgeLiz
We're extremely proud to announce that @LiversidgeJason has set a @GWR in his bespoke electric wheelchair, built by no other than our team at Heald!
Keep an eye out for his record-breaking effort on @BBCtheoneshow tonight!

@jo_makel@LiversidgeJason I get that this is meant to be inspiring, in a way it is. However, how does it help average disabled people in the DWP system who, if they tried doing all this, would be fined or jailed for fraud?
@LiversidgeJason I saw your fantastic achievement on BBC. You are an incredible man I truly admire. You gave myself and Special Olympics an incredible idea for so many. Hope to meet you and your family.

So thrilled to confirm that @LiversidgeJason achieved his @GWR dream today and reached 66.826 mph in his mobility vehicle! What an incredible achievement: someone terminally ill with motor-neuron disease, handling speeds like this down the track at Elvington!? Awe-inspiring!
#fastestelectricwheelchair So tomorrow is the big day, hopefully a little bit warmer and less wind than today. all the preparations are done except some last minute steering alterations https://t.co/uOckFlAxkt
Iβve met @LiversidgeLiz and the awesome guy that is @LiversidgeJason
Told he has a terminal illness, so goes out and does incredibly mad stuff like a world record for the fastest electric wheelchair.
He loved speed before #MND and still does, good luck for the world record!
#fastestelectricwheelchair not long to the official attempt at Elvington on 27th September at Straightliners records weekend, this couldn't have been possible without our sponsors, a massive thank you to each and every one of you. #GWRchallenge
Paralysed adrenaline junkie @LiversidgeJason#MND#ALS has scaled Mt Snowdon in a wheelchair, abseilled off the Humber Bridge & into the largest cave system in Britain. Now he has his sights on a @GWR for the #fastestelectricwheelchair at a whopping speed 62 mph. #MondayMotivaton
