Being sent to his hometown of Belleville, Illinois was not Pastor @pfernandes003 first choice, but God had a better plan. What idols do you need to lay down to be used by God? #LivingHopeIL#ShareLivingHope
Another example of deconstructionism we need to embrace is: rejecting the idea that one person has more direct access to God than everyone else. Truth: All who are in Jesus Christ have the same access to God.
Jesus came to give us hope and peace. Today we were able to share that with others. We got to help bring Christmas to some special families on Scott Air Force Base this week. It was great to watch our community gather around a need and work together. #ShareLivingHope
For the first time as a church community, we dedicated children last Sunday. Together, we promised to teach them who Jesus is & show them who he has called us to be. “May he produce in you, through the power of Jesus Christ, every good thing that is pleasing to him.” (Heb 13:21)
We loved serving our Belleville community last weekend at the Belleville Chili Cook-Off! What a great time to connect with people, enjoy one another, and step into what’s happening in the city we’ve set out to reach with the gospel. #ShareLivingHope#BellevilleLocal#618together
Early Christians knew that without God’s help, they had no lasting hope. Do you look to God with that same expectation? // “O Sovereign Lord, Creator of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them…” (Acts 4:24) #ShareLivingHope
We are honored for the opportunity to #ShareLivingHope with our friends who serve at Scott Air Force Base! Thu, Sep 15 at 6:30p, we will be presenting a service at the SAFB Chapel for anyone who has base access. If that’s you, join us for worship and a word from Pastor Paul!

Walking through the Psalms this summer has been a great way to consciously remind ourselves why we place our trust in God. There are still a few weeks to join us before summer is gone! #ShareLivingHope
What can you praise God for today? // “I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart; I will recount all of your wonderful deeds. I will be glad and exult in you; I will sing praise to your name, O Most High.” (Psalm 9:1-2)
“But let all who take refuge in you rejoice; let them ever sing for joy, and spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may exult in you.” (Psalm 5:11) #ShareLivingHope
Anger is an inevitable part of this life, but it doesn’t have to (and shouldn’t) consume you. How would your outlook and response change if calling out to God was your first response to anger? (Psalm 4:4) | Journey with us through a Summer of Psalms, Sundays | 9a #ShareLivingHope
“…what joy for all who take refuge in him!” (Psalm 2) / Learn how to take refuge in Jesus as we walk through this Summer of Psalms. We meet every Sunday at the Downtown Belleville YMCA. | 9a #ShareLivingHope
