Some years ago, I heard a minister say, "Here’s what’s so hard about repenting. Here’s what’s so hard about becoming a Christian. All you need is nothing, but most people don’t have it." – @timkellernyc

Hey, @Walgreens! Here at 7p to pick up my elderly parents’ medications, & your pharmacy, which is “open until 10p” was closed with “no pharmacist on duty.” This has become too regular; your services have become completely unreliable. When can we expect better?

My elderly mother was scammed today by people who took advantage of her trusting nature. I called them back and told them they should consider this number burned. Here it is… Enjoy and be creative:

I think our standards have dropped too low for the terms “unrecognizable” and “national treasure.”
The litmus test for these qualifications needs to go far beyond a celebrity haircut or the person that starred in your favorite movie.
Of course, you don’t have to agree with what the Bible says, but no one should be surprised when the Church agrees with what the Bible says. (Galatians 1:10) 4/4
People upset by the difference in doctrinal positions taken by Popes Leo & Frances, especially on social issues, have maybe forgotten (or perhaps never known) what is the real purpose of the Church. 1/4
The Church exists to share what the Bible calls the “gospel.” Our mandate is to spread the teachings of Jesus, not come up with our own. That’s why everything we do and say “should be” grounded in the Bible. (Matthew 28:19-20) 3/4
Perhaps it is overused, and maybe my use of it overdramatic, but I can’t help but remember this quote from Jewish poet Heinrich Heine: “Where they burn books, they will, in the end, burn human beings too.” (4/4)
Shame on the caretakers of Roald Dahl’s work for not protecting it, and on @PuffinBooks for participating in the kind of censorship from which other publishers have historically fought so hard to be free. (3/4)
Walking through the Psalms this summer has been a great way to consciously remind ourselves why we place our trust in God. There are still a few weeks to join us before summer is gone! #ShareLivingHope
What can you praise God for today? // “I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart; I will recount all of your wonderful deeds. I will be glad and exult in you; I will sing praise to your name, O Most High.” (Psalm 9:1-2)
