LEI is looking for a safety-minded person to fill our Safety & Environmental Director position. This person will help provide a work environment that promotes the health/safety of caretakers & animals, educate caretakers ethical principles & help provide a safe work environment.
The site that started it all, Stateline View (SLV). First introduced in the early 90s, this site has been through many changes/additions. In February 2023 we added a new gestation barn. SLV remains important to LEI because it has been the backbone for future LEI facilities.
Pigs have a reputation for being dirty animals but they are actually very clean. This reputation comes from pigs rolling in mud to cool themselves off in warm temps. But our pigs live in temperature controlled barns 365 days a year to always be comfortable!
In 2018, LEI constructed LEI Mills to improve efficiency & quality for our herd. There are 2 grain bins that hold up to 1,712,000 bushels of corn. LEI sources US Yellow Corn Grade 2 from local farmers & is used in many livestock feeds since it is such a great source for energy.
Congrats to all of the 2024 high school graduates! If you are looking to jump right into the workforce, look no further and check out our available positions on our website! https://t.co/TlNBVJSfNF

This weekend we had the opportunity to take some of our Worldwide J1 visa team members to the Husker Spring game! As part of their training with LEI, they are also here to learn about our culture! What better way to experience Nebraska culture than a Husker football game?
