The Texas Governor’s Office Sent $101,000 of YOUR Money to a Mosque Aligned with Iran’s Supreme Leader

The Islamic Ahlul Bayt Association (IABA) in Austin is not just a mosque; it’s an ideological satellite of the Iranian regime, operating inside the capital of Texas.

In late 2023, the Office of the Texas Governor arranged for $101,000 in public funds to be handed over to IABA - a mosque whose top cleric studied under Iran’s theocratic regime and praises its leaders openly and repeatedly.

🔴 IABA’s resident scholar, Jafar Muhibullah, was trained in the regime’s seminary in Qom and earned his doctorate at the University of Tehran.

🔴 He praises Ayatollah Khamenei as “our leader” and celebrates the Islamic Revolution of 1979 that brought the Iranian dictatorship to power.

🔴 In a sermon delivered in Qom, broadcast by Islamic Pulse (an Iranian regime propaganda outlet), Muhibullah praised Sheikh Zakzaky - Iran’s radical mouthpiece in Nigeria, who calls Jews “the lowest creatures on earth.”

🔴 Muhibullah lauded Zakzaky for spreading Shi’ite Islamist rule in Africa, calling it a victory for the global Islamic revolution.

But it gets worse.

In January 2024, IABA appears to have hosted Muzammil Zaidi, a known regime operative who pleaded guilty in federal court for transferring tens of thousands of dollars to Ayatollah Khamenei himself.
