@caroldecker Hello, I was brought up in Herefordshire and visited bham regularly as a teen (Oasis too). Loved it & moved up here as an adult, been 19 years. It's still brilliant, diverse, cultural and friendly. I'll happily champion Brum. Work in city centre & live in Stirchley. We love it.
100%. The UK flags aren't offensive per se but if there's racist intent behind it (men in that vid shouting insults at the mum alone w/her child, for example) then their pride is a load of crap. Do something good for everyone, be better citizens. Don't subscribe to racism.
why is it having pride in ‘are cuntry’ always looks like shit graffiti and racism and never, for example, fighting for fully funded public services, taxing foreign oligarchs pushing up house prices, bring services back into the hands of the public…
@HerefordFC You would've had some more supporters had you informed the fans that Edgar Street no longer accepts cash payments & updated the website about ticket prices (especially student tickets). Terrible organisation, asking for a lot of support and giving nothing back.
watched goodfellas for the first time in many years last night and goddamn joe pesci talking about the dog painting is so goddamn funny it’s unbelievable
If you're heading out to eat during this heatwave please be extra kind and patient to your servers/chefs. This was the temp just now away from the oven. Your sandwiches aren't the only things melting in this heat.
After nearly 18 hrs of living in Brum I've just ventured into the fringes of the black country to have my first orange chips.
I need to take smoking back up and have a cuddle in a pair of strong arms cos they were absolute filth 💦

I had a day off work today and forgot the first rule of Twitter; never attempt to engage or reason with anyone using common sense. There is no reasoning, only opinion.
I need to double entendre or meme to bring it back around.
@CarolineNL_GB@zeno001@Pret Lets not forget that in the real world, most (almost all) men that take children to the loo will be the childs father or caregiver. A unisex toilet makes there life a lot easier. There are some bad people out there who are scum but most people are normal and decent. I promise.
@CarolineNL_GB@zeno001@Pret Obvs noone wants that. I'm referring to small businesses (or businesses in small spaces) that are low on space. Not suggesting that schools or all public spaces should abandon common sense. Toilets have been separate and pervs still exist. I don't think they're bothered by signs.
@DorothyHorrible@zeno001@Pret I'm probably making it up, I'll check when I'm next in my place of employment for the last 7 yrs, that I haven't got it wrong. Of course, some of those facilities you've used may have been mixed but it wasn't made a big deal of. Just people weeing and getting on with their day 👍
@RetroBum@zeno001@Pret As someone who ha@s worked in small businesses for over 2 decades I can respectfully disagree. It has worked (before everything became political) & still does work (even though it's still not a political choice). Have a good day (hope you have access to the loo of your choice)
