With small flurries throughout the past week, conditions are getting better each day.
The top is riding well, and the lower mountain is softening up and smoothing out. Mountain Safety continues to work hard to open up more terrain safely in the alpine.
Unlike cinnamon rolls, convex rolls are not always awesome. Even mostly mellow slopes can have areas of sudden pitch change where terrain becomes prime for triggering an avalanche.

Would be good to dig in and ask about what kind of support people getting from insurance companies and also ICBC for potentially vehicles destroyed by fire 🔥. It’s horrible to hear what people going thru and hopefully after the fire they don’t have horrible care from insurance

.@icbc release today: "ICBC supports BCers facing wildfires." Says basic insurance doesn't cover wildfire damage/loss to vehicles. You need comprehensive -- which ICBC won't sell if there's an evacuation alert/order in your area. So, basically, you are SOL.
Golly, thanks ICBC.
