On This Day in Metal June 6th, 2004
Metallica delivered one of the most memorable festival performances in metal history at the Download Festival in Donington, England.
Just hours before the show, drummer Lars Ulrich was hospitalized due to a medical emergency and unable to perform. Rather than cancel the headline set, the metal community rallied together. Dave Lombardo stepped in for “Battery” and “The Four Horsemen,” while Joey Jordison handled most of the remaining set, with drum technician Flemming Larsen also helping out. The result was a legendary performance that fans still talk about today.
Watch Metallica perform “Battery” with Dave Lombardo on drums below:

@Hermonhammer@BrysonGray@moody64556609 I guess reading is not your strong subject.
I said "Go in peace" is just a common phrase. And doesn't signify anything good or bad.
@rabbriansamuel 7Let us rejoice and be glad and give Him the glory. For the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His bride has made herself ready. 8 She was given clothing of fine linen, bright and pure.” Forthe fine linen she wears is the righteous acts of the saints.
Revelation 19
The Parable Of The Wedding Feast (Matthew 22):
1⃣ A King holds a wedding banquet for his son
2⃣ The invited guests refused to come
3⃣ Frustrated, the King invites everyone from the highways and byways
4⃣ One guest was not dressed in proper wedding clothes and was removed
Translation:
1⃣ The King is God, the son is Jesus
2⃣ The invited guests who refused to come are the Jewish people
3⃣ Everyone from the highways and byways are the nations, the Gentiles
4⃣ The proper wedding clothes is righteous living according to the Word of God
Shabbat Shalom.
If there was ever a time to turn down the volume of the news and turn up the volume of God’s Word in your life, this is it.
Soon, almost nothing will make sense to you. But remember, this isn’t the first rodeo for our world when it comes to spiritual darkness and strong delusion.
Think about the days of Elijah and how it must have felt to be so lonely, watching as almost an entire nation had forgotten God - His goodness, faithfulness, and power.
Yet even when Elijah thought he was alone, the Lord reminded him:
“Yet I have reserved seven thousand in Israel, all whose knees have not bowed to Baal.” (1 Kings 19:18)
This is exactly why I feel so strongly that God’s message to Elijah, and Elijah’s message to the people, is so relevant to us, our children, our friends, and our coworkers.
In more ways than one, I found myself identifying with that lone prophet who didn’t even have a book named after him. I cried many times while recording the audiobook version. Perhaps it’s because I, too, felt lonely through much of my early life and, in some ways, still do today.
Our world went off the rails in 2020 with COVID, and then came two and a half years of war and a Nazi-era-style wave of Jew-hatred around the world. Yet what saddens me most is not even that. What grieves me most is seeing how far people have drifted from the Word of God and how quickly they have embraced doctrines of demons and YouTube videos rather than studying the Scriptures, meditating on them, and spending time in prayer.
“Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons.” (1 Timothy 4:1)
“His delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law he meditates day and night.” (Psalm 1:2)
I honestly have no idea how many more years God has granted me in this world - five or fifty, it doesn’t matter. I simply want to know that I made a difference before I am taken home.
I will probably not witness my nation’s great repentance while I am here, as the Bible indicates that it will take place when I return with my Savior.
“And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written…” (Romans 11:26)
What I do want to know is that my books, my live teachings, and my on-camera messages have directed people to the only truth—the Word of Truth—and to the Spirit of Truth, who leads us into all truth.
“Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.” (John 17:17)
“However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth.” (John 16:13)
People tell me to stop promoting my books.
As they do, they have no idea how they are allowing the enemy to work in and through them. If anything, these are the very times when we must promote anything and everything that points people to the Word of God. Only Satan opposes that.
These same people will sit through thousands of advertisements for worldly things without complaint. Yet when it comes to promoting books that help bring people to the Lord or encourage those who already believe, suddenly they have a problem.
I am done apologizing or giving any regard to this type of “the gospel is free, so don’t sell books” cult mentality—people who gladly pay more for a few cups of coffee than they will ever spend on a book.
Time is short.
“Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.” (Ephesians 5:16)
We must all work together to promote one thing: the Word of God.
“Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season.” (2 Timothy 4:2)
Behold Israel’s followers have always been there for me, and as a result, my books have received recognition that opened doors to the hearts of many unbelieving people - people who are willing to pick up a book that has been acknowledged by worldly institutions.
In my short life of nearly 54 years, I have come to realize two specific missions given to Gentile believers:
▪️ To lead people to faith.
(Matthew 28:19-20)
▪️ To provoke Israel to jealousy.
(Romans 11:11)
Part 1/2
If you see this, please say a prayer for me.
My wife runs out of one of her medicines tomorrow. Not sure what we’re going to do for food next week. Terrified that my contract for my new job is not going to be renewed.
Feeling very melancholy and lost…
I’m currently recovering from surgery and still very weak. My doctors have advised further treatment including blood transfusions, scans, and follow ups to support my recovery. Please keep me in your prayers 🤍🙏🏽
@Hermonhammer@BrysonGray@moody64556609 Go in peace does not mean, he will or will not be welcomed into God's Kingdom.
It means simply Go, I have no quarrel with you.
@NeilHatten@TranscendNWO@DrShayPhD The avenge our blood part of Stephen and Christ was forgiven, by them.
But they still have the other sins to repent of.
@NeilHatten@TranscendNWO@DrShayPhD Why don't you ask God, how would I know, I am not God, but it stands to reason if you sin against God, you can't ask your little brother Jimmy to absolve you of it. You have to get right with God. Jesus forgave them for His murder, because someday they will hopefully repent.
