@KHCReal @LGBTLD@idiotsincharge @PankhurstChops @KanteOKante@KimJames87@scarlettstuff@LibDems The San Francisco AIDS Research Foundation has reported more than half of trans’women’ are infected and sexually active with multiple partners. The report is in PDF format on the internet. I do not have the link readily available.
@grsmother @GIdentityWatch You have already seen the facts. The images included in the article are accurate and valid. He was, indeed, threatening a woman and her family.
Ada Nield Chew (1870-1945) socialist, suffragist and trade unionist. Worked for Women's Trade Union League, travelling the country (often with her young daughter) organising women. Prominent anti-war activist and member of the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom.
@grsmother @GIdentityWatch I am sorry for your grief. I don’t know you, your family, your life. But I do know that in addition to the life-taking altercation, he was threatening a woman with children of her own. He was targeting her family and home, inciting abuse and violence. There is a bigger picture.
Four men did not grab a woman in a dark alley and rape her.
Instead, they got her drunk and had serial sex with her in a bedroom.
And joked afterwards in texts about “spit roasting”.
That’s rape.

The victim wanted to have sex with someone famous. The rugby “stars” wanted to humiliate and violate her. And a jury has said that’s absolutely fine.
So agreeing to sex apparently makes a woman culpable and deserving of whatever happens to her next.

Furthermore it ignores risks women have suffered and continue to suffer for taking or, in the case of young girls, not even having learned to assess them. #IBelieverHer and #MeToo reflect those risks and the waves they've generated haven't occurred in a vacuum.
For "care" read "embrace". It's an unreasonable demand to make on women, it reveals more layers of sexism and it totally dismisses women's struggle for liberation from their structural masters.
"Gotta feed the next generation of trans inclusive feminists."
I repeat:
You betray yourself twice:
1. keeping the feminised men out of your masculinity umbrella;
2. maintaining the sexist obligation on women to "care" for those you choose to deem "vulnerable" because point 1.
A lot of this requires that men hold up a mirror to themselves. When men refuse to do this and instead excuse themselves from conversations with women with that kind of backhanded slight for a "Goodbye!"I wonder what exactly is the "feminism" they think they can teach children
The men who have paid close enough attention to feminism to regard it with the seriousness it deserves don't go round obliquely (read: cowardly) attacking women disagree with the premise of self-id. They listen to women and to feminists and then they think about what's been said
However, feminism has an awful lot to teach men about their relationships to women, to other men and to themselves.
I tend to doubt men who proclaim themselves feminists and that tweet gives me good reasons to.
To me, feminism is a body of studies which seek to explain and find ways to *act* upon the effects of the gender mechanism. It is, naturally, woman centered because women bear the brunt of the gender mechanism of oppression and so women started questioning it and challenging it.
I've no idea what "feminism" is referred to about in "trans-inclusionary feminism". Indeed I don't understand what trans-exclusionary feminism is either. Both are bunkum AFAICS.
Indeed, the gender police has men punish themselves for perceived "weakness" (deemed "feminine") and is responsible for all sorts from "men don't cry or do emotion" to high rates of suicide among men in times of economic recession during which bankruptcy rates rise.
