1st, to welcome our newest recruit FF Rhys Pryce
2nd, after an incredible 44 yrs service WM Dai Gwalchmai has decided to retire.

Road Traffic Collision with @NewtownFireStn and member of the public assisted from a property surrounded by floodwater by crew using wading kit.
Like most of our North Powys colleagues, 05P1 spent yesterday dealing with multiple weather incidents including flooded properties in Churchstoke and New Mills and vehicles in floodwater at Caerhowel
Pleased to announce Llanfair Fire Station now has a public access defibrillator. This is located on the outside of the Station by the front door so is available 24/7 @LlanfairCaerTC
Interesting RTC exercise last night requiring crews to both winch a car and lift the trailer of a LGV to extricate casualties. Thanks to WM Tanner @NewtownFireStn & Richard Yorke Recovery for arranging.

Crew members from @Machynllethfire and @LlanfairFire joined crews from @GorsafS for a BA Exercise last night in Aberystwyth - plenty of BA wears , plenty of enthusiasm, good procedures and some tactical ventilation training. Great night, well done to the crews. π
