$UBER will not be able to compete based on cost and scale. Everything else you say is true but you are overlooking the cost and scale advantage.
Once $TSLA gets past their initial launch, they will quickly put $UBER out of business with cost and scale advantage similar to Netflix and Blockbuster or Amazon and many Retailers.
