@sophiailyniak Oh literally just on the wiki for their parent company, the Fluor corporation. But just checked and they actually acquired them in '77, so I guess TECHNICALLY it wasn't Daniels but Fluor doing the work, which from what I can tell consisted mainly of building cooling towers
Insane that the Daniels corporation worked on the Manhattan project. I like how theres a kind of elder evil vibe lurking underneath their artsy infographic branding

but we didn’t buy it, we didn’t ask the state to do it for us.
we organized and we took it. just regular Parkdale people.
and we’re still here, a year later.
Chris delivered a letter to his landlord at home with a group of supporters including members of Parkdale Organize.

Minor organizing success story: my prepandemic job hired everyone back, touting that they had increased wages for the rotating supervisor position. They failed to mention that they had cut the wages for non supervisor positions from $20 to $17.50. I reached out to a few people...
But everyone was pretty nervous about upsetting management and thought they would only be getting supervisor shifts. After a couple weeks of trying to get people on board, me and just one other coworker decided to just shoot an email off to management. Their response...
