Supriya Sharma, Executive Editor of Scroll has been a prominent media voice covering the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) protests.
Now look at the connections.
Scroll received investment from Omidyar Network and the New York-based Media Development Investment Fund. Sharma also appeared at the 2026 Oslo Freedom Forum, an international platform bringing together activists, opposition figures and critics of governments accused of authoritarianism.
The forum promotes human rights, but these international networks also help shape political narratives and bring domestic disputes to a global audience.
CJP funding, media coverage and international connections raise legitimate questions.

Who is financing the wider ecosystem around these protests, and is there evidence of direct coordination?

They are currently struggling at Stage 2 and attempting to consolidate it before advancing into Stage 3.

Key constraints so far:
▪️Inability to generate meaningful public support beyond core activist and ecosystem networks.
▪️Professional restraint and operational discipline by Delhi Police. Despite sustained attempts through deliberate provocation, misinformation, fabricated content, and pressure from Deep state controlled international media and human rights groups, no significant escalation in police response has materialized.
▪️Unfavourable timing. Navratri coincides with one of the peak shopping periods of the year; the protests are generating visible negative sentiment among traders and the general public.

Probable next steps:
▪️Heightened efforts to provoke a stronger police response, including the possibility of a casualty (whether through self-harm by elements within the mobilisation or staged attribution). A body would be leveraged to shift the narrative and accelerate escalation.
▪️Renewed attempts to secure physical space in Delhi rather than force a premature transition into Stage 3 without first expanding the base. Additional ecosystem actors are likely to be activated to broaden participation.
▪️A coordinated information campaign targeting the Supreme Court has been underway since Saturday. Given that the SIR-related petitions rest largely on contested claims and the Court retains the option of firm action against disruptive activity, pre-emptive efforts to erode institutional credibility are underway.

Current assessment: Government retains the initiative. Protest mobilisation remains constrained and is struggling to expand.

And guess who the major attendees from India showed up there?

Saurabh Daas and Supriya Sharma.

And one of the featured speakers there was Helle Lyeng Svenson, the same journalist who heckled Modi ji right in front of him during his Oslo visit (from May 18 to 20).

The script for this was prepared quite some time ago.

And this entire ecosystem was brought into India through Saurabh Das and the Thakur Foundation.

The Thakur Foundation gave Saurabh Das about 11 lakh rupees as initial startup funding.

He has also written a book—actually, he's writing a book for which he received an advance. Just like Newt Gingrich did back when he was trying to bring 'Fox News' to America. The same approach is being used for Saurabh Das.
So, all these things were decided long ago.

Deepke was trained in America for a full year by the 'Human Rights Foundation' and the 'George Soros Foundation'.

There is no record of him studying at Boston University in his second year.
Now, talks of a hefty donation are surfacing, so his degree can be secured from there.

Supriya Sharma was the second featured speaker at the 'Oslo Freedom Forum'. And she spoke openly about Umar Khalid, about how people of other religions are being persecuted in India and Hindus are like Hitler and Mussolini.

That was her thinking and ideology, and according to her, Modi is a dictator...

Yes, Supriya Sharma has also co-authored a book on 'Love Jihad' and explained that it's a fictional story.

They're pouring massive amounts of money into India, which is why FCRA is so crucial—and that's exactly why other political parties are opposing it.

Most movements have originated from Left ideologies, where students are brainwashed to start protests.

It happened in Nepal, in Bangladesh, and long ago in Cuba as well.

My appeal to this country's Gen Z and Gen Alpha is this, ask the government as many questions as you want, make them do what you desire, especially in the field of education.

But please don't fall for the temptations of ideologies like CJP, AAP, Human Rights Organizations, and the Oslo Forum.
