"Over 4,000 roads are ongoing in the North-West alone... Only the man who started these projects will complete and commission them, and that is you..." —David Umahi, Minister of Works. (@DaveUmahi@officialABAT)
From renovated schools to digital learning facilities, Mallam Alwan Hassan @yesmylo highlights education interventions he says could shape President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s @officialABAT re-election prospects in Northern Nigeria.
Speaking on ARISE TV’s @ARISEtv Prime Time with Charles, the APC Presidential Campaign Spokesperson cites UBEC’s renovation of 287 primary schools nationwide, covering over 4,000 classrooms in partnership with state governments.
He explains that the whole-school approach goes beyond classrooms and furniture to include sanitation facilities, solar power, boreholes, fencing and digital integration. He also notes that ICT resources have been deployed in over 2,000 classrooms across the country.
According to Alwan, these interventions and the administration’s record over the four years leading to 2027 will translate into votes, particularly in the North.
