Scribbles and Baby ๐บ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ช๐ต๐ฑ๐ฌ๐ง
@LockdownBabyT21
My little lockdown baby was so excited that he grabbed an #extrachromosome on the way.
Don't confuse silence with having nothing to say.

@gb_global, please can you confirm the upper weight limit of the Pockit + All Terrain? There's a lot of conflicting information about it online, ranging from 17kgs to 25kgs.
Many thanks.
@TTRadioOfficial A 15-yr old girl was sent to PRU for 3 months after punching me. Prior to the assault, I'd raised concerns with SLT 3 times that my presence was triggering this girl because of some of her lived experiences. They didn't act & that made the assault inevitable but not her fault.
@WhistleblowingT I know it's not typical, but only 6 other people in this country share my name. My name makes me (us) very identifiable.
Perhaps staff names, photos, emails, etc. should only be accessible to those who log in to the site, so those details are not searchable by the general public?
@LisaFar34706367 Me, too - the first visit without my child and the vast teaching experience.
If the head/SENCO don't have the 'right' attitude to inclusion, they don't deserve to meet my son (he has DS).
@FloraSCooper I'm considering 2 schools. The head/SENCO combo matters most - whether they offer a genuinely inclusive community. Second, my son's response to visiting the school.
OFSTED report is irrelevant; I've not even read them.
Of the 2, I favour the one that overlooks fields and trees..
@madmaxruns Brilliant. In a similar vein, since I introduced my two-year old to crumpets earlier this week, he's been signing them as 'grumpy'. ๐ โบ๏ธ
@LironiKR That's so kind of you. I'm glad you like it. And Holland!
It irritated me when I first read it 3 years ago and then someone mentioned it to me again a few weeks ago...and it all came bubbling out...
3 years ago today I heard the news that the unborn Baby Scribbles had grabbed an #ExtraChromosome. The love I had for the tiny person growing inside me never faltered.
Celebrating #UnconditionalLove today. ๐๐

@EmilioLees Couldn't agree more.
Last week, I told a nurse my name but within seconds she'd called me 'Mum'. I introduced myself again & explicitly asked her *not to call me 'Mum'*. She did it 5 more times within 30 minutes.
It triggers my PTSD from 2 months of awful treatment in NICU.
My name is not "Mum". Had my first experience with this today with a health professional and it felt dehumanising. Professionals, plase use the parent/carer's actual name #SEND#disability#autism#NHS#SLT
@doc_bipolar Take care. I'm sorry that you've been made to feel that way. I didn't feel that your post was critical but even if it had been, there's nothing wrong with that.
Constructive criticism is a really useful tool for development but all too often defensiveness gets in the way.
@doc_bipolar Being called 'Mum' by professionals triggers my PTSD (stemming from 59 awful days in NICU, when 'Mum' was used to degrade/dismiss).
Yesterday, I was called 'Mum' by a nurse. I gave my name & asked for her not to call me Mum.
5 more times in 30 mins she did so.
0 effort made.
