This included more Daily Mile, Mindful Art, Creating Inspiration Explosion Books, Ecology Fieldwork, science with MERCK, learning about French Bastille Day and the Great Egg Drop

Yesterday, we opened our doors to the new Year 5’s, who will be starting with us in September. It was so well-attended, with teaching staff on hand to put the children (and parents and carers!) at ease. Our wonderful Samba band played and everyone received a Welcome Goodie Bag!

We are hoping to run a pre-loved uniform sale before the end of term, with the Friends of Lockyer's.

Mr Harris and Mrs Clarke came into school last Friday, to introduce Corfe Hills to the Year 8 pupils who will be attending in September. They gave our children an overview of the expectations and exciting opportunities that await them, whilst also answering some 'FAQs'.

Our fantastic Samba band, with the incredibly talented Mrs Wallace, performed at the annual Corfe Mullen Carnival last Saturday.
It was, as ever, a brilliant performance in front of hundreds of people.

All year 5s have recently been learning how to play ukulele with Mrs Wallace.
Here is a video of one of the groups of students from 5JW, who sang and played so well for their final assessment.

We are pleased to announce that we will be taking part in this year's Big Walk and Wheel event.
