De mest van zeedieren zorgt voor de groei van plantaardig plankton. Dit is voeding voor veel ander zeeleven, produceert een hoop zuurstof en is een kei in het opslaan van CO2.

Andere zeedieren houden ecosystemen onder water in balans. Maar deze zeedieren worden bedreigd door klimaatverandering en overbevissing.

Om het klimaat te beschermen moeten we deze zeedieren beschermen!
