“The presence of river otters in Calgary is a really good indication that the health of the Bow River and the fish population in this river and the surrounding environment is in really good shape.” https://t.co/Yuiw3VOLRS
That's about one border crossings car traffic from the US per day. We take about 8000 US immigrants a year. And have taken more for most of our history.
Caravan Thought: No sovereign state has to let anyone in, especially people flooding the border. Every country on Earth can decide who, how and when to legally let people in. This is not racist nor xenophobic.
Would Canada allow 5,000 Americans to just wander in? Or vice versa?
I'm not specifically a fan of nuclear but I am a fan of math so by default...people can't seperate weapons from energy and so the extreme cost benefit analysis is missed.
No. Keep the environmental standards high but put tariffs on importing oil that isn't produced with reduced emissions etc. We are a net exporter and this would drive up the use of AB products across country.
RT if agree, the #Oilsands emissions cap MUST GO.
1. Alberta’s the only top oil producer with a cap.
2. We’re the only target of “green” groups, who obstruct all pipelines.
3. If we’re not competitive, we will continue to see jobs & emissions go elsewhere. #AbPoli#AbLeg
The Calgary Farmers’ Market is set to open a new location in 2020, and in an effort to spread the news, they’ve released a very…well…they’ve released this ad.
What do think? Poor taste, or all in the name of good fun?
