Want a lot more DLO.
Uses the AD screen, Marshall drags the defender off of Christie for a moment, DLO finds him and Max nails the three.
DLO is perfectly capable of running this offense and setting up for these play finishers.
It’s hilarious seeing media folk acting like they know certain things but really just lean in to narratives for clicks…
but when you ask the actual players these narratives don’t quite match up… don’t see them pushing those agendas tho.
Love the click bait culture.
Bill Simmons describes D’Angelo Russell’s career:
“He’s your buddy that comes to visit and it’s really great when he is only there for one day and by day six you’re like, ah, I’m ready for him to leave. That’s D-Lo,”

@mambahussle We don’t have to dive to deep into this… but I notice you’re a lakers guy… I can also send footage and stats from game 6’s against the grizzlies and the warriors on the way to the WCF…
Cooper Flagg on playing alongside D’Angelo Russell and what he’s learned from him:
“He’s been an incredible influence so far of just setting the tone at a really high level. Ever since he’s come in and been around, he’s just been setting examples and just being a real role model. Just playing really hard and just playing really smart as well. He sees the game at a different level, so I think I can just learn a lot from him in the way he’s able to pick apart defenses and just use his vision to our advantage.”
Russell finished with five assists in his Mavs debut, and his passing was elite.
Naji Marshall on D'Angelo Russell —
"Great scorer, great passer, great leader. Heavy IQ on the game & just hearing him out watching him play's gonna be a true service to my game as well I feel like."

Honestly… the coolest golf event I’ve witnessed… first 2 days were brutal but man was it electric down the stretch.
Don’t wanna hear anymore about us not having dawgs! You could tell these boys wanted to go out swinging for their country and that’s what they did! #USA
