Xi Van Fleet is an American patriot. She was born in China, lived through the Cultural Revolution, and was sent to work in the countryside at the age of 16. After Mao's death, she was able to go to college to study English and has lived in the United States since 1986. In 2021, she attended a school board meeting in Loudoun County, Virginia, and spoke with great passion about the danger, the madness, and the abject stupidity of Critical Race Theory. Cameras were rolling, thankfully, and her remarks went viral.
I was among the millions inspired by her willingness to speak out, and thought to myself, “I’d love to meet this woman someday.” Well, today is that day. @XVanFleet has written two terrific books about what America must do to resist the slow creep of communism and socialism taking root all over our country. The most recent is called Made in America, and I can’t recommend it enough. The book contends that the U.S. not only failed to understand communism, it allowed the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) to rise. Xi argues - very persuasively - that American business and political elites enabled this, and that the U.S. is now facing its greatest threat as a result.
Xi now devotes all of her time and energy full to warning those who will listen about the dangers of communism, and the shocking parallels between what happened in China under Mao, and what’s happening in America today. I believe we ignore her at our peril. Our whole conversation is here. https://t.co/WpLB1BJmLN
Democrats spent $70 million on this referendum.
Almost every penny came from out of state.
They broke laws.
They wrote a deceitful ballot measure.
They ran tv spots for two months, nonstop.
They brought in Obama.
They brought in Hollywood.
We had grassroots.
That’s really it.
They only beat us by 70k votes.
In an April election.
Here’s the most ironic part … what do you notice?
All that money, all that effort, and all they did was prove our 6/5 map is accurate.
Almost exactly.
Democrats: BOYCOTT TESLA! RUN THEM OUT OF BUSINESS!!!
Tim Walz: Look at the stock! $220 and dropping! That gives me a boost! 😁
Democrats: Hey, wait a minute… why aren’t you paying more taxes
Tesla: Well since you told everyone to boycott us we barely made any money in the U.S. market
Democrats: That is outrageous!
Hypothetically…….. I’m being taxed on money I never made. Let that sink in.
If I bought my property outright for $60,000 in 2009
Now the county says it’s worth $246,000.
Did I sell it? No.
Did I make a profit? No.
Did I get a check for $246,000? No.
But my taxes jumped like I did.
That’s the problem.
This isn’t income.
This isn’t cash.
This is a number someone decided on paper — and now I’m being billed for it.
If my stock portfolio doubles, I don’t pay taxes until I sell.
If my income doesn’t increase, I don’t magically owe more income tax.
So why does owning a home work differently?
Why am I being taxed on unrealized gains?
A house isn’t just an investment — it’s where people live. And this system means you can do everything right, pay off your home, and still get squeezed harder every year because of a number you never turned into money.
You don’t truly own something if you can be taxed out of it.
This isn’t about “services” or “inflation.”
It’s about being charged for value you never received.
And people are starting to notice.
This needs to be on everyone’s mind✔️
I’m going to admit that to an extent I failed my oldest child.
Not in the traditional sense. He’s a relatively good kid. He’s smart. He has a good job. We’ve been there when he needs us and thankfully he doesn’t rely on us for much at all anymore.
All that said, he has in fact been radicalized. It happened slowly. He’d say things. I’d dismiss them a “young and dumb” figuring he’d mature out of your typical high school liberal turns.
I’d always say, “l’ll never tell you how to vote, but I’ll never pretend you’re right when you believe stupid things.”
Recently he made an anti-Israel statement. I mean, that’s fine if it’s relegated to Israeli policy and politics. Criticize everyone always, when they must be criticized.
But then, he said something that was absurd. And I asked him to explain.
He said, “When Israel attacked Gaza on October 7th…”
I stopped him and said, “I’m sorry, WHAT!?”
He had no idea what the truth was.
Forget the nuance of every day politics. I mean he had been told online that Israel had attacked Gaza on October 7th.
When I corrected him, he was stunned. He then said, “well why did Israel attack our ships?”
I said, you mean like recently? He said, “yeah!”
I said, “I think you need to seriously consider where you get your information from. Whoever it was didn’t tell you that was back in the 60s.”
He looked lost. So I said, “the way it works is they tell you something that is true but out of context so that IF you look it up, you’ll see at some point something like that happened.”
My point is that your kids are being radicalized. Whether Left or Right, the algorithm is showing them what they want all the time. It doesn’t care what they believe. It only cares that it captures them.
And boring old truth doesn’t keep eyes in an app.
Pay close attention. I thought I was. But boy was I wrong.
I don’t know what it looked like on Tv, but watching Trump wait for the Democrats to stand up when he said “Stand if you believe that the duty of the American Government is to protect American citizens, not illegal aliens” was surreal.
It was several minutes.
Felt like an eternity.
Watching them sit on their hands in person when asked if they believe they have a duty to the American people really told me everything I’ll ever need to know about their party.
They do not care about the American people at all. Their obligation is to illegals over Americans.
And in person, you felt it. 🇺🇸
TheBurntPeanut responds to the botting allegations
“You guys mind if I be a little unhumble..I call viewbotting the losers’ topic..at the base of the argument, it’s cope..no way to prove it..ofc ur post is gonna blow up..its a bunch of other losers coping
🚨I DIDNT WANT to do it BUT I have too.
You didn’t see this yet.
The narrative that “he was just filming and the officers got angry” is false.
The narrative that he was only trying to protect two women is also false.
He, along with others, was actively interfering with a legitimate law-enforcement operation. That is why officers moved them off the street.
That does not mean he deserved to die.
When officers attempted to detain him, he resisted arrest.
That does not mean he deserved to die.
He was armed and chose to insert himself into an active enforcement operation while resisting arrest.
That does not mean he deserved to die.
An agent called out the presence of a firearm. During the attempt to secure it, the weapon discharged before the agent could declare the scene clear. Other officers, hearing a gun call and a gunshot while a suspect was resisting arrest, reacted according to their training.
From their perspective, they were confronting an armed individual resisting arrest. That is why, immediately after the shooting, one officer urgently asked where the firearm was. He believed he had just engaged an armed suspect, because that is precisely the situation as it appeared in real time.
He did not deserve to die. However, his actions, his decisions, and his criminal interference were contributing factors, alongside serious failures by the officers involved.
I believe the shooting was unnecessary. I believe there were many alternative ways the situation could have been handled. I do not believe the officers were truly under lethal threat.
Recklessness on all sides resulted in a man losing his life.
Approximately 23 percent of ICE activity occurs in Texas, yet we do not see these outcomes there. Minnesota accounts for roughly 2 percent of ICE operations, yet has seen multiple shootings involving American citizens.
The difference is organized resistance. Blue states have coordinated efforts designed to insert civilians into active ICE operations to interfere intentionally and directly.
Interfering with law-enforcement operations is illegal, and it is dangerous. This is how people get killed.
Resisting arrest is illegal, and it is dangerous. This is how people get killed.
Within the Second Amendment community, there is a common saying: “I would rather be judged by twelve than carried by six.” It refers to choosing survival over moral victory.
That same principle applies to interactions with law enforcement.
Would you rather be right, or would you rather be alive?
Make smart decisions when dealing with law enforcement. Survive the encounter. Then take the fight to court. Use every lawful platform available to expose misconduct. Name departments, supervisors, and officers. Demand accountability through evidence and process.
But interfering with an active operation, resisting arrest, and doing so while armed creates a predictable and deadly outcome.
Was it legal for him to be armed? Yes.
Should citizens carry lawfully? Yes.
Is it profoundly reckless to interfere with law enforcement and resist arrest while armed? Absolutely.
When we carry firearms, we accept greater responsibility. That responsibility was neglected here.
It is possible to support immigration enforcement while condemning reckless policing.
It is possible to criticize law enforcement while also acknowledging the dangerous behavior of civilians.
It is possible to recognize complexity, rapid escalation, human error, and shared responsibility in a fast-moving situation.
He did not have to die.
Liberty only survives when it operates within order.
Nothing about this situation was orderly.
When order collapses, lives are lost.
He did not have to die.
Democrats are calling for Abolish ICE and shutting down the federal government based on two shooting death incidents involving protesters whose car or gun was perceived as an imminent threat to officer’s safety.
Both incidents occurred in the same city where the mayor has ordered police to stand down from intervening when protesters obstruct the operations.
Meanwhile ICE conducts operations in every major city right now without the same chaos as Minneapolis.
Why is that?
Seeing all these people shitting on Hytale is genuinely insane to me.
- Game gets announced 9 years ago, one of the most hyped up games ever
- Developer makes 20 million from selling Hytale to Riot, can literally retire for the rest of his life
- Riot runs Hytale into the ground over the course of years, community gets strung along for the ride
- Riot CANCELS Hytale, community is in complete shambles
- Developer comes out of retirement when he and his wife recently started a family to try and save the game, makes a bid and reacquires the IP
- Bid gets accepted, dev spends months away from family to undo all the years of bad development so the game can become playable asap
- Sets a release date that’s super early because although he knows the game is extremely unfinished, he wants to get it out asap so the community can finally play it
- Spends WEEKS telling everyone how unfinished the game is to temper everyone’s expectations but promises consistent updates
- Game releases, half the people are shitting on it because it’s unfinished and they say it’s not worth $20
- ???
I haven’t played the game yet because I wanted to wait until it was a little more complete, but seeing all the discourse actually makes me want to play it sometime this week.
Regardless though, it’s genuinely insane to me that this game is already so ahead of its time even in early access that people are legitimately comparing it to MODDED MINECRAFT (a modded version of a finished game that’s been out for 20 years) and think that they’re valid for doing so.
Keep up the great work @Simon_Hypixel , as someone who wanted to play this game since I was 16 years old because I always loved games like Minecraft and Cube World, I’m thankful that there has come a point in my life where I actually am able to.
People are always going to look for reasons to hate on everything; don’t let the negative noise drown out the fact that starting yesterday, you were able to fulfill a dream millions of people have had for almost a decade now of finally being able to play your game.
Baldur's Gate 3 released August 3rd and in the time since then and now it got
>several hotfixes all days between each other
>2(TWO) major patches that fix even more bugs and adds stuff players asked for, including a new epilogue for Karlach
>a third major patch coming tomorrow
This is the new standard that AAA devs fear: doing their jobs.
These guys spent 7 years to launch a low poly FPS game with up to 254 player lobbies. Like Call of Duty meets Battlefield meets LEGO
And it finally released today
