@ProfOrganizer The only time you can state that you are single is when you aren’t sure if you have reached the “relationship” stage with someone or if you have both made it clear that you do not want anything “exclusive” and are still open to seeing other people while in that relationship.

@ProfOrganizer If you truly believe that not being married yet having a bf/gf means you’re single then there is an issue with you. Social norms are not derived from pieces of paper that only want legal information and not want social life information. There’s a clear difference between the two.

@ProfOrganizer No regular human being cares about your “legal status” unless it is in a professional manner. A relationship is a relationship no matter if you’re married or not. Some people date the same person from high school till they die and never get married. They are still a couple.
