@OldVetvp I went to school with kids who had had polio. They had one short leg and one normal one. I remember they had to wear leg braces with built up shoes. My husband also remembers kids in his class who had polio. It was real, not a made up illness.

@TheRevMusic777 @ksorbs I don't know where you went. I work at a rural hospital in Tennessee and we were swamped! We had to open a unit just for covid, utilize travel nurses, work mandatory overtime. It was a nightmare.

@techescapesme @ksorbs Ues, one of the first things administration did at my hospital was remove all the isolation supplies from the units because they assumed we would steal them. We had to use masks for days on end till they had holes in them. I wound up hospitalized myself from that practice.
