Not sure it works this way. Team building is a consistent act of improving squad. Players decline, become unfit, want to leave, don't work out - all the time. Filling holes & upgrading are different tactics. And targets always don't go as per plans. Need to be flexible & faster.
Let's call it for what it is, this window was a joke. Underwhelming is an understatement for what should've been one of our biggest summers in the last decade. Poor sales, top targets missed, LB not addressed.
The people in charge HAVE to be held accountable. Window Shopper FC🥱
Like this deal, near term pragmatism with some future upside and insurance. For those complaining about the fee, don't forget that Championship clubs are bound by Squad Cost Rule for 2026/27.
WOW! Manchester United’s highly rated academy talent Jay McEvoy scored an UNBELIEVABLE SOLO GOAL in training 😳
Are we sure that’s not Lionel Messi?!? 😂

@mi0minmio I'm guessing we are just waiting on Rodri at this point. I like the restrained approach considering the prices involved. I prefer to build sustainably now and then increase wages and fees in the future, when UCL and, hopefully, the manager position are more stable.
@mi0minmio I agree, and I think it would be sensible to focus on CBs now, but I have zero faith that the club will prioritize it. I also think we should be going for volume right now, considering the prices for top-level players or perceived top-level players.
@Erwin6_ It sure does, and this is also why it has been so frustrating to see us be so passive for years. Today's price is, in general, way lower than next year (This year might be an exception).
