@0xHamz the difference between 1980 and today is that the debt/GDP was only 25% in 1980 and is 120% now
if GDP growth stalls, any increase in rates must be paid for by printing new money, which makes raising rates an ineffective tool for fighting inflation when debt is too high
if one more of you compares public blockchains to “MySpace/Facebook” then imma lose it
when you compare permissionless, public value networks to closed apps which people can’t meaningfully build on or tokenize value on,
it shows me you don’t know wtf you’re talking about 😘
new NFT projects will FOLLOW THE LIQUIDITY
this can take two forms:
1) low throughput chain with high value / SoV assets (like Ethereum)
2) high throughput chain for high volume/revenue on low value assets (like alt-L1s)
next cycle, they won’t have to choose with Ethereum L2s
everyone who isn't thinking critically about AI, and especially the intersection with automation and robotics, and with digital money
has simply not read or watched enough sci-fi
the grownups thought i was a nerd wasting my time, but i was really just preparing for the future
personally, i would never margin buy a bottom
the time to margin buy for most is never
but if you are inclined, the best time is on a confirmed shift/breakout to a multi-year bull trend
we are 1-2 years from this point, with painful fakeouts likely which will kill most who try
very often, people use this line of thinking as a rationale to buy things they actually cannot afford or do not really need
very few people run the numbers on this kind of logic correctly
i'm sure the few that think they do though will be in my mentions in 3, 2, 1...
i hold only incidental amounts of custodial stable coins
almost everything i hold is ETH, NFTs, and USD deposited on US-regulated exchanges and FDIC-insured banks
