@GlobeFarrah i know this is just your fat phobia talking but it really shows you don’t know much. when someone is working on losing a lot of weight it’s important to do some kind of strength training because otherwise the muscles will go first. eating enough protein is very important too.
@bezuidengoy this thread makes it pretty clear you don’t know much about losing weight. when someone is working on losing a lot of weight it’s important to do strength training because otherwise the muscles will go first. eating enough protein is very important too.
@parzerp because of burnout. so if this seems like such a struggle for you, maybe check yourself.
btw recycling is good for the environment and therefore helps us all given we all live on earth so if it’s a bit of extra work, who cares? not everything is measured in money.
@parzerp has anyone ever queued 15 mins for this? i guess if the machine was broken and you wanted to wait for it to be fixed? but most of the time it’s 0-2 minutes and you do it when you’re already going to the store. the only time i found recycling hard was when i was severely depressed
@GrateScotty@HorrorGorl@Honestjinora You’re a billionaire if you are one. Creativity can be debated I guess, but someone can be creative even if you don’t enjoy the results. IMO Taylor’s wedding sounds a bit tacky based on what we know about it but it’s hers and not mine and no one is ever be too old to play castles
@HorrorGorl@Honestjinora Getting married at the MSG sounds really unappealing to me but THIS. Not planning a dream wedding or doing anything really because the society deems you too old is just sad. We only have one life, why stop living when you’re not necessarily even halfway through it.
@ethanagarwal I don’t even follow football and even I know that the rules in “soccer” have changed over the years. There are even some new ones in this tournament. Is it American too to make statements about stuff you clearly know shit all?
@CoolidgeRocked@elsathora Healthcare? You don’t have universal free at use healthcare like most of Europe. Do you really think that poor people in Europe don’t have running water, electricity and phones?🤣
@JodiesJumpsuit@tiredofcons1978 Some of the heat related deaths are for example drownings. Not everything is related to temperatures at home. I’m sure some people in Europe would benefit from getting AC but this is just stupidity.
@reallyoptimized regardless of the hospital must have AC because the temperature must be regulated. Some really old buildings may not have proper AC everywhere but there will still be some level of air conditioning to keep the air moving and clean, it’s a hospital after all.
@reallyoptimized I don’t think kids in Europe aren’t getting surgery because of lack of funds. That sounds like an issue American families face because of huge hospital bills. Most of us have universal free at use healthcare unlike in the US. Also all modern hospitals have AC, all surgery rooms
@insolitudewecry@reallyoptimized@meeekaaaahhh Some of the deaths reported in the media as heat related were drownings so unless we can prove that those people wouldn’t have been in the water had they had AC at home (who knows if they did)… you’d think these people work for AC manufacturers for how hard they’re pushing this.
@reallyoptimized@meeekaaaahhh You must be a troll or really stupid. Can you point me to the source that states the lack of AC was the cause of death? Many public spaces have AC in Europe. Not all cafes but big stores etc. Some people have AC at home, but it’s just not common where extreme heat isn’t common.
@reallyoptimized@ToerpeZwerg Is that really the comparison you want to make? “In Europe many sick and old people die from record breaking heatwaves so it’s ok that kids in the US die in school shootings?”
@amandatalks__@Raszinobs idk if that’s the flex you think it is. ”somewhere more people die from something completely unrelated so it doesn’t matter that kids need to practice how to seek safety at school in case there’s a mass shooting”
@benadrylfan69 i know people who have ac here in finland, it’s not like it’s not available. personally i don’t see the point because it’s not too hot for that long (when it’s +25 c, my flat’s fine). there’s other ways to keep cool when it gets really hot. also, i think about my carbon footprint
