experienced something new today @uber. my driver was deaf but uber did not make me aware of this as passenger or prepare for how to communicate with them at the start and end of ride. felt like a huge product gap.

no rider notification despite what documentation on https://t.co/rAT3Qqe0oY says.

also recommendation to tap your driver and use hand signals while they should be focused on the road is not safe.

it overlaps with something i often take into consideration on a day to day with personal work, ada compliance.

uber please do better. these experiences should be tested often.
