Had my day in court today. It was hard, I had to choose between giving evidence or taking a guilty plea for a lesser charge. I took the hard option and went to trial, but very nearly didn’t get heard due to other cases. Whatever the outcome, I should be proud. I stood up to him

I think it's really concerning that despite spending my whole life in male-dominated environments, I've never experienced the frequency of discomfort since I started working where I do now

I thought I’d be strong enough to tell people to leave me alone, to not be worried about what they’d say about me if I complained. I thought I wouldn’t feel obliged to answer deeply personal and uncomfortable questions just because they came from my boss

Why do people think that it's OK to comment on someone's weight? When climbing last night, a complete stranger, a 60/70 year old man, told me I was too thin and asked how much I weighed. Even tried guessing when I said I didn't know, as I was too shocked to tell him where to go

The man that I reported for touching me has admitted in interview that he did touch me, but that it wasn't sexual... It was my backside that he squeezed... but that wasn't sexual...
