@GrantHesser Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Does the civil investigation turning criminal impact your view that this is the best run? I know there’s been investigations for decades across several payors but those had always been on the civil side.
@neverhedgecap In the short / medium term it’s all about risk/reward and catalysts. In the long term you’ll just track the fundamentals. So yeah it works.
@TheTipasa Pharma is such a low % of total systems costs that it’s not a big driver, and when these things go generic it’s a big dividend to mankind. The games they play are egregious, no doubt, but when you lay out to the numbers all fingers point to the providers.
@TheTipasa Providers price gouge under the banner of “quality” and “innovation.” Insurers are the only ones in the system with any incentive at all to fight it (opportunity to gain market share with better priced plans) but ultimately give in as inflation grows their business as a whole
