Arrived!!! 2300 km on my distance certificate following the yellow arrows and #CaminodeSantiago shells from Brussels. Feel a little bit proud of myself π.
All ready, unpacked in hotel, discovered my one long shirt had sticky moth trap goo on sleeve π±and could not wash off. Thanks to internet, peanut butter is the secret, paste it on and wash it off! No sticky goo! Top tip π#camino#CaminodeSantiago
Back! 97km, all weathers, wind and rain, including a wild camp. Good test. #Achilles#tendinitis was ok. Now can honestly say, so far 100% hiked #CaminodeSantiago Brussels to Bordeaux. Part two starts 26 April!
@john_raff Probably looks more, because of puffy stuff squeezed in back. Base weight was 8kg (without hiking poles). Considering including a tent, sleeping bag and mat itβs not too bad. Have some ideas to maybe loose another kilo.

again! Repeat section where i hurt my leg and the three days I missed as a result. From #Aulnoye to #StQuentin. A few dayβs training and gear test. Hope my achilles tendinitis is now ok π€«. Proper restart from Bordeaux late April. #CaminodeSantiago
Tomorrow #Bordeaux , after 975km from #Brussels , this will mark my winter break from the #CaminodeSantiago Restart in March. Friends joining me for my walk into the city. π
