Shamrock Rovers' Matt Healy and St. Patrick's Athletic's Kian Leavy have both received their first call-ups in the latest Ireland squad update ahead of our clash with Canada.

16-year-old Josh O'Dwyer, who is joining Red Bull Salzburg from Shamrock Rovers, will also travel with the squad as a training player.

Shamrock Rovers striker Archie Quinn has been on trial with German side Hannover over the past week! 🇮🇪

Quinn, who is the Ireland U15s record goalscorer, scored last week on international duty for Ireland U16s against Finland and Iceland.

The striker has also been capped at U17 level with the 2009 World Cup qualifying group and will look to break back into the squad ahead of November’s tournament in Qatar.

Rhys Williams got a hat-trick, including two penalties, with Blake Devereux-Lynch also on target while Alfie Black kept a clean sheet, including a fantastic last minute save, as our U17s beat Cobh Ramblers 4-0 in the Mark Farren FAI Cup 1st Round 👏

The lads will host Bray Wanderers in Round 2 next Sunday ⚽️
