@gglasstheatre@NorthwesternU 6/ Theater leaves you “changed charged and empowered,” a @gglasstheatre motto. Love a show or hate a show, talented artists and storytellers expose audiences to ideas, perspectives, and new questions.
5/ Theater (especially non-profit theater) is a risky business model, which makes the work even more admirable. @gglasstheatre was launched 30 years ago by a group of @NorthwesternU grads passionate about making art - they've been scrappy, entrepreneurial, and daring to do so.
4/ Theater is ephemeral. What you see will be experienced by no one else, maybe not even the people in the room with you. Every line, laugh, and clap has been and will be different.
3/ Theater is one of the only places where screens are respectfully silenced. Lean forward or sit back, disconnect, and take part in a story with a room full of strangers.
@gglasstheatre@LookingglassAB 2/ Theater is about storytelling. Something we all need to be better at. How are you telling your story to sell your product, your business, or yourself? We can learn a lot to learn from these artists.
