I’m now out of the police station. Still waiting for my colleagues.
Make no mistake. There is no longer a right to peaceful protest in the UK.
I have been told many times the monarch is there to defend our freedoms. Now our freedoms are under attack in his name.
Letter in today’s Guardian: “In recent years, the food bank has used grants from the national lottery to support its activities, but recent applications for funding have been unsuccessful. They have been told that much of the funding is going to events celebrating the coronation”
Republican protesters near Trafalgar Square being told by a Met Police officer that they may be arrested for public nuisance for chanting “Not My King”
The arrest of peaceful @RepublicStaff protestors who've been coordinating with police for weeks - is possibly the best advert for abolition of monarchy.
THIS is what it means to be 'British', people.
#CitizensNotSubjects

Why do YOU think this law has been put in place?

It’s difficult to appreciate the calamity, death and disability caused by this govt’s political choices.
I see it every day. And it is heartbreaking.
People who would have received treatment in 2010, now just languishing.
People who would have survived, now gone.
Truly awful!
Labour’s NEC has voted to kick Jeremy Corbyn out of the PLP permanently and stop him from standing again by 22 votes to 12.
We said this yesterday and we will say it again today, @UKLabour is neither democratic or socialist 🥀
Solidarity with @jeremycorbyn ✊
Jeremy Corbyn has integrity. He is trustworthy. He keeps his promises. He always strives for unity. He never purged. He was not authoritarian. He didn’t cow to The S*n. He was inclusive of minorities. He spoke human. He is loved.
It makes perfect sense that Starmer despises him.

When @carolynharris24 MP in the women's cross party committee asked for a trial scheme to help women suffering badly with menopause
Tory Minister for Women & Equalities said menopause issues are left wing & similar to claims from those "with ginger hair"
Minister. For. Women? 🤬
