@TLMaths @Whitehughes @Sheena2907@DrBennison@missradders@BecomingAJackel They’ve been happy the last two years and although it’s difficult it doesn’t feel like they’re trying to trick them. On the other hand if they can do the 2022 papers then they can probably cope with anything a FM exam can throw at them!
@TLMaths @Whitehughes @Sheena2907@DrBennison@missradders@BecomingAJackel I think AQA has a lot of content, particularly the amount of time the mechanics option takes vs potential marks. However after a very bumpy start when the spec changed the papers have been very fair and accessible the last couple of years. Our students definitely feel +ve overall
@missradders@Sheena2907@MrsMathematica @Whitehughes I do this sheet with my students but we use graphical calcs so don’t need the list of probabilities https://t.co/IePqV5156z

@Sheena2907 With mocks, pick a few questions that I know will be tricky to mark and use exam board exemplars to get staff to mark in pairs/groups then discuss. Would love to do it for every assessment but we don’t have the time
@ECR_Maths @CityJuiceBar @mrsouthernmaths We have very few students doing MAT who aren’t doing Further, they all
do the full A-level in year 12. We have a separate MAT class that will cover sequences in year 12 if anyone needs it so I’m not destroying anyone’s chances.
