@Bakaldkjaa@ergo_praxis Should we also disenfranchise retired homeowners who work day and night to prevent building more housing to keep their property values elevated?
@imgonnat0uchU@Lumenaus@TheMG3D Let’s say you bought a luxury handbag and it said it was made in Italy, and thus charged prices as such. It’s a high quality handbag, doesn’t really fail or have noticeable design flaws, but later you find out it was mostly made in China. Would you not feel scammed?
@OthrVirginiaGuy@BrentInQueens Because being provocative is a way to get views, and so you are more likely to see the ones who are stupid and provocative.
The real “loophole” is that, ultimately, the Constitution is only really worth the value the human operated structures we have place on it. If you try some rules-lawyering scheme without building support among the people, military, or bureaucracy, you will just be couped.
Curtis Yarvin doesn't know anything about the Muslim Brotherhood. It's simply not accurate to say Hamas is an "arm" of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood. The Egyptian Brotherhood is in, well, Egypt. It's not active in Gaza or the West Bank. It's barely even active in Egypt after being suppressed. Decades ago, Hamas was an offshoot of the Palestinian Muslim Brotherhood, which is a different organization and one that no longer exists.
Hamas is already rightly designated as a terrorist organization, since it targets civilians for political gain. The Egyptian Brotherhood played no role on Oct. 7 and it's unclear why it would have, considering it's an Egyptian organization. It has no operational ties with Hamas. If Curtis Yarvin has evidence of such operational ties, I'd love to see them. Of course he doesn't.
@Scottl1971@AssalRad And I suppose Israel is timely and effective with prosecuting any crimes committed by Israeli settlers against Native Palestinians in areas under Israeli occupation and thus Israeli jurisdiction?
