This is Midrand South Africa!
Show me anywhere like this in Ghetto cities of Abuja and Lagos and I will disown myself!
We don’t have cities in Nigeria, what we have are slums including Banana Island and Abuja.
What Matlala was describing is Money Laundering. Pay a huge amount of money into a legitimate business account (Deposit 2mill cash, the supplier takes 200k then refunds you 1.8million). That 1.8million now becomes a legit payment received from a legit entity

DEVELOPING:
Singabhako Nxumalo, spokesperson for the Department of Correctional Services, tells @eNCA that five members from Vusimuzi "Cat" Matlala's legal team engaged in consultations on August 21st.
Given the size of their delegation, they were provided with office space to facilitate their work. Their arrival was noted at 12:05 PM and their departure at 14:20 PM.
On August 22nd, two members of Matlala's legal team consulted with him and left with some files.
On August 23rd, three members of his legal team consulted with him and were offered space AGAIN!
Nxumalo expressed concern, stating it was unfortunate to hear the story presented by Matlala's legal team at the commission, claiming they experienced challenges.
" I don't know then what else was expected of us if for three consecutive days we offered an office space to do the consultation." - Nxumalo

El-Sayed: You don't want to talk about gas prices. You don't want to talk about groceries….You want to bring up all this culture war
Watters: Do you think men should play in women’s sports?
El-Sayed: I'm running for U.S. Senate. It's insane. I'm out here trying to take on the health care crisis and big pharma, and you're asking me about who gets to play what sports

Did post-apartheid South Africa return the favour to Africa?
They didn't do their research.
The 2020 Oliver Wyman Digital Bank Index scored South Africa 4.8 out of eleven countries measured, second only to Singapore's 5.3, sitting ahead of Spain, Switzerland, Germany, the USA, the UK, France and Italy, well above the study's average of 4.2.
Our banks posted 7.3 for sales capability, the highest score any country recorded in the whole study, beating even Singapore's own 6.4.
Now ask why Vodacom's M-Pesa never worked here. It launched in Kenya in 2007, into a country where roughly eight in ten adults had no bank account, so it filled a real gap.
That gap grew into a service that now moves value worth about four times Kenya's own GDP every year. Vodacom brought the identical model to South Africa in 2010, chasing 10 million users.
By the time the service shut down in 2016, only 76,000 of the million people who signed up were still active.
That was never a marketing failure. It was a company trying to sell a bank account to a country where three out of four adults already had one, a card in their wallet and a branch down the road.
