I am officially going to Toronto International Film Festival 2025!
Here’s a list of the movies I will be watching at the festival in order of when I get a ticket for each.
Matt Damon confirms he will star in a new film directed by The Daniels (‘Everything Everywhere All At Once’).
He describes the film as “‘The Breakfast Club’ meets ‘Inception’ meets an anime film meets an episode of ‘The John Oliver Show’ that didn't get aired.”

EXCLUSIVE: Parker Finn's remake of the 1981 cult classic POSSESSION, now starring Margaret Qualley and Callum Turner as the lead couple, is currently in production in New York under the title "THE BUREAUCRAT" and is being shot on 35mm.
Also starring Paul Dano and Diego Calva, coming soon to theaters from Paramount Pictures.
@ANerdNamedJerry The other (imo) bigger issue is that Barbie and Oppenheimer were two movies that both film people and general audiences wanted to see. With this, film people are only going to watch one of these (Dune), and normies are only seeing the other one (Avengers).
Still haven’t seen Burn yet, but idk if we’ve ever seen a true spiritual successor to the original (not that I’m complaining though, it’s easily my least favorite of the original trilogy).
I don’t think that’s true actually. 2013 feels like it’s trying to emulate every other horror film from around that time with the same plot points as the original, and Rise just feels like it’s trying to do Evil Dead 2 again except inside an apartment.
