Most people still don’t work from home. Most Nigerians actually hustle OUTSIDE their homes. MTN Fibre X cannot be used outside the home. It is useless to most people.
People celebrating it are only celebrating faster upload and download speed, something that is normal even in other African countries.
When MTN is serious, we would all know. For now, they are still sham, giving tinsel and calling it gold.
We suffer so much in this country, so much that what is supposed to be basics are now celebrated as privileges.
So APC people are now telling us to vote for Tinubu because FAAC has increased?
You want me to ignore the fact that a bag of “pure water” went from N100 to N500 just because my governor is now earning well?
All of you are mad!
Nigeria Cannot Become a Killing Field
What is happening to our country?
In recent days, deadly attacks have struck Benue, Plateau and Niger States, three contiguous states in Nigeria’s North-Central region.
In Mangu, Plateau State, at least 23 people were officially reported killed in the Jwak Maitumbi attack, while residents put the toll above 30. More than 45 houses were reportedly destroyed. In Borgu, Niger State, recent attacks reportedly killed over 40 people and abducted more than 100, though the figures remain contested.
This comes amid continuing violence in Benue, where communities face repeated killings, abductions and the destruction of homes and livelihoods.
Nigeria is not officially at war, yet citizens are being attacked in their villages, abducted after prayers, driven from their homes and stripped of their farms.
What is happening in Benue, Plateau and Niger is similar to what is happening elsewhere in the country, with some attacks even going unreported. The violence across these states must no longer be treated as isolated incidents. It is a national security emergency requiring urgent and coordinated action.
I urge governments at all levels to wake up to their responsibility and take urgent and decisive action to end this madness once and for all.
Government must protect vulnerable communities, improve intelligence and rapid-response capabilities, rescue abducted Nigerians, and arrest and prosecute those responsible.
We cannot keep counting bodies after every attack. We must prevent these attacks before they happen.
Protecting lives and property is the most basic duty of government. Nigerians deserve nothing less.
Nigeria must not become a killing field. -PO
I have consistently continued to respectfully appeal to those in office today to prioritise reconstruction and maintenance of existing roads and other infrastructure over commencing new ones.
I left someone in Onitsha on Saturday night to take the first bus to Lagos on Sunday morning. Until I left Lagos at 8 pm yesterday, he had not arrived in Lagos. He only arrived in Lagos at about 2 pm today. A journey that usually takes a maximum of 8 hours now takes nearly two days.
This is not just about bad roads. It is about lost man-hours, stranded passengers sleeping on highways, wasted fuel, damaged vehicles, delayed goods, and businesses losing millions of naira.
Nigerians do not need new projects just for the headlines. We need functional roads that make life and economic activity possible.
A government must understand that infrastructure is not necessarily about the size of the project; it is about the number of lives and livelihoods it improves.
A new Nigeria is POSSIBLE, and Nigeria will be OK. -PO
One of my biggest regrets as a person is that I didn’t document the earlier part of my life.
I’d go missing in group pictures, I barely took pictures, not to talk of videos.
I really wish I did.
People who don't exercise often think gym goers are obsessed with muscles. A lot of the time it's more about having an outlet for stress, anxiety, overthinking, or just feeling like you're MOVING FORWARD.
Today is Monday abeg. Don't let madness strike you.
Are you not aware of the deplorable state of the road and the people stuck on Benin/Agbor road for over 24 hours?
Carry the anger to the day of election!
If after this suffering one is waiting for opposition parties to tell one who to vote for, then one hasn’t suffered enough
A country’s entire supply chain brought to a standstill because of terrible roads. Goods can’t move, businesses suffer, and the economy pays the price. What a shame.
The media sector in Africa has failed us. We keep seeing news about Ukraine and Gaza but the genocide happening in neighbouring countries like Sudan and Congo has been grossly underreported.
We need to do better in Africa.
A leading Opposition Party Candidate warned you that a Portion of the Eastern Bound Expressway was Terribly Bad. Instead of you to hurry up and Fix the Bad Portion to Immediately counter His Narrative. The FG Insulted him In the Media for Days Yet did Nothing. Today Motorists have been stuck on that Road for 3 straight days due to the Terrible conditions of the Highway. Businesses Lost. Many Lives and Appointments rendered Useless. This governance Thing is not Hard but everyday @OfficialAPCNg makes it look Like Rocket Science.. I honestly don’t know how Nigeria reached this Point of Mediocrity, where Leaders don’t Take Correction and Move Quickly to action . People are Paying Taxes. The Nation is Generating More than Enough Wealth to pay to Have these Roads built. What is this continued Incompetence towards your own People and your Own Country?Where is your Patriotism? Aren’t you ashamed? 🤬 When we screamed that There are too many Bad roads in Nigeria There’s no Need to start an Entirely new Expressway from Lagos to Calabar, all we got as Citizens was Insults and Propaganda from the Tinubu administration. I honestly don’t get it anymore. Elections are next Year. You would think a Serious Govt that wants a second term will be going around Fixing Everywhere to win the People over. Instead the Hardship is Increasing and NOTHING is being done. A whole NADECO veterans sharing Rice, Bread and Money to buy Votes in big 2026 is downright Shameful. Dear Nigerians, the Ball is in your court. Heaven has given You more than Enough signs. You have Zero Excuses. Get your PVC. Get Ready.
VOTE WISELY 2027.
Vote NDC. Vote Obi/RMK
Nigeria will be OK. 👍🇳🇬
Bro imagine being stuck here for 3 fucking days
And nobody is apologizing and pleading for the people’s mercy
If you dey campaign for this people dem suppose spit on you.
And fuck all of you who trivialize people’s lives and pains as politics!!
