This year I art directed DIY, and created the entire look and feel to keep its punk and skate roots. For the trophy boards specifically @HelstNYC and I brainstormed on which boards to pay tribute to.

Mr Karate seems so creative in Fatal Fury COTW.

He can taunt and add to opponents meter just like the AOF games.

He can charge to remove and REV meter fatigue quicker (also in overheat)

He also has a Overheat idle pose aswell.

Very well done with the AOF references!

Developer Comment ✍️
With the idea of a "stylish look" being the core focus, we explored a variety of designs including suits and coats. Each design had a mysterious atmosphere and led the character in appealing directions. In the end, the silhouette created by the draped coat paired especially well with the tengu mask, resulting in a style that conveys the overwhelming presence and intimidation factor of a true powerhouse.
