@LongBeachBum@allenanalysis Agree, unless the details includes a cap on credits based on the number of sales in-state. Volume based cap, first 30K vehicles registered per manufacturer per year, maybe with a total volume cap across 5 years.
@krassenstein This act provides 13B in 2025 for Ukraine-only and would be a solid no for me. Russia and Ukraine are the #1 and #2, respectfully, most corrupt countries in Europe (below Bosnia and Herzegovina).
@VivekGRamaswamy@elonmusk The CPP relaxed the 50% local ownership joint ventures a little while ago. Tesla China is 100% owned by Tesla. Why haven't you asked Ford, GM and others to pull out of China when THEY are still in those joint ventures fully supporting the CPP directly.
@VivekGRamaswamy 1000% on speeding up the rollout of modern nuclear power, but that is a slow process in the USA compared to Wind/Solar/Battery rollout.
@VW How many vehicles will sell in China with the 2016 6b emissions standards going into effect on July 1st 2023? Seems like most if not all new passenger cars and light-duty commercial vehicles will not meet the new standards.
@SenGaryPeters@SenatorCantwell@GM@GM Creating Jobs here? Seems at odds with @GM making Voluntary Buyouts to all U.S. white-collar employees with at least five years at the company as of June 30, which accounts for the majority of its roughly 58,000 salaried U.S. employees. Before your scheduled meeting!
@PDXAccountabil1@kenklippenstein Until legacy auto lobbies for a definition change, recall is the word to use.
Still better than: Ram issued a recall notice for 306,165 heavy-duty trucks Monday, covering 2021-2023 Ram 2500/3500 models equipped with the 6.7-liter Cummins turbodiesel engine.
@MarketWatch Before providing any funds they should have an actual review of how much of the entity's chargers are actually working and providing charging. This past winter showed only Tesla's charging stations were working. Range anxiety was affecting many EV users!
@ripster47 Based on this past winter reports on EV charging networks, only Tesla's network of charging stations worked well or great. Most failed miserably and many were unusable. There seems to be a lack of accountability on them actually working and providing a charge.
@SenatorCantwell It would be great if you could get the IRS to use the EPA's vehicle classification for the Inflation Reduction Act. Also, I support https://t.co/Y26yeVnr1d
