@Argenpoirot This isn't "Brutalism", it's a metal skin on the exterior. The site wasn't chosen for the quality of the stadium, but the draw of city known as the media capital of the world nearby, which hosts the U.N. & largest stock exchange in the world... FIFA wanted money & attention...
@IamAbdullah3887@MusialaEra FIFA changed the times of these games from the normal WC match times, moving them to cater to Asian audiences, because they were complaining about times. The irony... we had those same times during the 2002 WC in Korea/Japan, our best performance, QFs, on at 2-4am ET.
@MusialaEra LMFAO @ trying to suggest US sets match times/schedules & they intentionally went out of their way to put a match on so Aussies couldn't watch it (when ratings helps drive profits to make the WC seem better). (You also ignore that the US' best performance was '02 at from 1-5am)
@therealRuiGirao@TaylorTwellman@AlexiLalas Non calls on something you needed a slowed down specific frame to be able to see? ALSO, don't WC hosts typically get calls to go their way... that's not specific to USA, but nearly every nation that's ever hosted.
@Footballtweet Red, easy, stepped on his Achilles got for no reason... yet, he gets away with murder... like when he intentionally handled the ball vs NED then started talking smack to their coach at the last World Cup
@Venus_flytrap76@Reddleman2020 When we top our record from 1994 & the top 2 most attended & most profitable World Cups will have been on U.S. soil, good luck trying to make that argument... π
@Reddleman2020 Were about to top our old records from 1994... here you are in the WC for the 1st time since 98 only because they expanded it... while the US only missed 1 WC since 1990 & has been to the knockout rounds in 5 of the last 8 WCs, yet you're gonna try to talk smack?!?
@fifamedia Why are each of those photos being done at funny angles, rather than giving us the hawkeye graphic that they normally use with the automated offsides? I think we all know the answer to that...
@alfie_t8 Azteca hosted 2 World Cups before, and because of the heat & its elevation, both were mainly slow & boring.
There are definitely FAR better choices of venue in the US, but I'm pretty sure FIFA wanted the media capital of the world as the destination city.
@AlexiLalas I love when the haters show their complete ignorance by not getting the joke, yet trying to talk down as if they're the experts... ππ€£ππ€£
@OnemillYuk@TstreeT_Contro Then he rightly sized him up that he was charging in leaning forward w/o protecting his head, and dropped him w/ an uppercut that snapped his head back, and sent him through the ropes.
@CaliRighty@910VilleBaby26@RCrocker02@FightKarnivore I showed it in all 3 original pics showing the 3 times it happened, you're just a dunce, w/ an ignorant viewpoint you're trying to defend despite evidence to the contrary. If someone keeps cleating your feet, then you're going to do something to stop it, regardless of kid/adult.
@Nijo008@iMiaSanMia This is kind of a dunce post... Kimmich is one of the best CMs of all-time, w/ Quality Chance creation #'s better than DeBruyne. Playing him at RB would be as stupid as playing DeBruyne, Modric, Pirlo, etc. at RB.
@Pikaro20203135@iMiaSanMia GER also doesn't have anyone who can play CM the way Kimmich can... He's 1 of the best CMs in the history of the game, w/ Quality Chance creation #'s better than DeBruyne's best yrs. It'd be like playing DeBruyne, Pirlo, Modric, etc. at RB... You build teams w/ your best players.
