I voted until 5 a.m. today to block Trump's $1.8 billion slush fund.
Your tax dollars should not be going to Jan. 6th rioters who went after officers.
And why give MORE money to ICE when they’re already bigger than the FBI? The extra 70B could instead fund yrs of health care!
So let me get this straight.
Jake Tapper is focused on attacking my Mom.
Jared and Ivanka are building a private island paradise on Albanian protected land.
Don Jr married the daughter of Epstein’s banker, and a startup his fund backs just got a record $620M Pentagon loan.
Eric is taking an Israeli drone company public for $1.5B in the middle of a war with Iran that nobody wanted.
And I know: “But what about your paintings, Hunter?”
Please.
This is so insanely corrupt, I can’t even believe it.
More than half the donors to Trump’s $400 million White House ballroom just won over $50 billion in new federal contracts in six months.
And here’s the part that should make your blood boil.
Sixteen of these 27 donors were facing federal enforcement actions, antitrust reviews, labor cases, securities charges. Many of those cases have been quietly dropped or scaled back since Trump took office. You write a check, your legal problems disappear. That’s not a coincidence.
The White House won’t even release the full donor list. They’re hiding it on purpose, because daylight is the one thing pay-to-play can’t survive. A federal judge already ruled ballroom construction has to stop until Congress authorizes it.
Government is supposed to serve the people, not auction itself off to the highest bidder. When access goes to whoever pays the most, working families always end up paying the price.
We either end the corruption, or the corruption will end us.

Trump promised not to “touch” Medicaid.
Now he is cutting it by $1 trillion and taking health care away from patients with cancer, AIDS and other life-threatening diseases to pay for tax breaks to the top 1% and his wealthy campaign contributors.
Unimaginable cruelty.
Republican North Carolina Senator Thom Tillis is right that Congress decides how taxpayer dollars are spent — not the president.
And your money shouldn’t go to people convicted of assaulting law enforcement and the Capitol on January 6th.
Today, among the goods that are universally intended for everyone, we must also include new forms of property, such as patents, algorithms, digital platforms, technological infrastructure and data. In a context where the wealth of nations depends increasingly on knowledge and technology, when these goods remain concentrated in the hands of a few, without adequate forms of sharing and access, a new imbalance is created that contradicts the universal destination of goods. In turn, it widens the gap between the included and the excluded, between those who can participate in the digital revolution and those who remain on the margins. #MagnificaHumanitas
The Republican Party quietly deleted their own ad attacking Ken Paxton's record on crime... because Paxton is now the Republican Party's nominee to represent Texas in the U.S. Senate.
Figured if the ad is important enough to delete, it's important enough to see...
Ken Paxton is the most corrupt politician in America.
He embodies the broken system we’re running against.
It’s time to come together: The People vs. Ken Paxton
Let us learn to be rich in a different way: more attentive to relationships, more intent on valuing the common good, more attached to the local area, more grateful in welcoming and integrating those who come to live with us.
So another deal that’s not a deal that’s a deal that’s not a deal that’s a deal that’s not a deal that’s a deal that’s a…surrender.
What a horrible fucking mistake this war was. People killed, economies destroyed, and Iran comes out stronger. Trump should be in jail. Again.
Petraeus: The U.S. has not remotely learned the lessons it should from Ukraine.
This is the future of war: Ukraine alone uses 10,000 drones a day, and 90% of Russian casualties are caused by drones. That should force institutional change. 1/
If you give a politician $5 to influence a vote, it’s bribery.
If billionaires spend $50 million to influence an election, it’s legal.
That is what a corrupt campaign finance system looks like.
With fervent hearts, let us pray today that the Spirit of the Risen One may save us from the evil of war, which is overcome not by a superpower, but by the omnipotence of love. Let us #PrayTogether that God may free humanity from misery, which is redeemed not by immeasurable wealth, but by an inexhaustible gift.
Megyn Kelly, who endorsed and campaigned for Trump in the 2024 election:
“I didn’t expect the corruption to be quite as widespread as it has been. The self-dealing, the lining of his and his family’s pockets. It’s shocking… You look across the board at the Trump family, I’ve never seen a family get so rich off the presidency.”
Iran said just 12 hours ago (on Sunday) that Trump's remarks are "inconsistent with reality" as far as having a deal. He will continue to pretend he's close to a deal in order to prop up the stock market & keep oil prices low. It's ridiculous the press keeps taking him seriously.
GOP Senator Thom Tillis slams Trump’s $1.8B slush fund:
“I think it’s stupid on stilts… Taxpayer dollars will compensate someone who assaulted a police officer, got convicted…and now we’re going to pay him for that? This is absurd!”
No nation, no society, and no international order can call itself just and humane if it measures its success solely by power or prosperity while neglecting those who live at the margins. Indeed, Christ’s love for the least and the forgotten compels us to reject every form of selfishness that leaves the poor and the vulnerable invisible.
US stocks go up and silver goes down due to official BS story lines. Bessent says China agrees to pressure Iran over opening the Strait & HSBC bank simultaneously says silver is overvalued. But China will let the US flounder (the US won't give up Taiwan) & inflation will soar.
