I cross 11th in Hell’s Kitchen almost every day and it is truly a nightmare every evening rush hour. Drivers speeding down the bike lane, blocking the box and casually rolling through red lights while I’m in the crosswalk

Only ticket I’ve ever gotten was for using my student MetroCard during spring break 2004 to go to the lab where I was doing research. Wasn’t unusual for folks to risk jumping turnstiles b/c they ran out of transfers or time after school. Glad to see my CM advocating for this!
